MOSCOW, Dec 25 (PRIME) -- A 6.6% stake in Russian gas giant Gazprom was purchased by a consortium of investors including the Russian firms, Gazprombank CEO Andrei Akimov told reporters on Wednesday.

“Gazprom is happy. The country received money. (The stake was bought by) a consortium of investors. There are also Russian investors there, many of them,” Akimov said.
